Hester Reeve is a Reader in Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University. Her key interests are split between expanded potentials of drawing and the relationship between philosophical thinking and human agency in everyday life particularly when it is risked through the figure of ‘the artist’ (where what constitutes an artist is broadly conceived and not exclusive to art school training) or through durational live art action. She has also been working with the physicist David Bohm’s radical model of ‘Dialogue’ for over 15 years. Venues exhibiting her work include ‘Philosophy on Stage’ Halle G, Vienna, Yorkshire Sculpture Park UK and Tate Britain (under the umbrella of the Emily Davison Lodge).
